Malaysian Journal of Science and Advanced Technology (MJSAT) is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

MJSAT publishes all of its articles under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 license. This license allows others to remix, adapt, and build upon your work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge you and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.

Under this license, the author(s) retain copyright to their work, while allowing others to copy, distribute, and make some uses of their work. However, authors who publish with MJSAT agree to the following terms:

  • Authors grant MJSAT the right of first publication of the work, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0  license.
  • Authors retain the copyright to their work, while allowing others to distribute and make some uses of it non-commercially, as long as they credit the author(s) and the publication.
  • Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  • Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges and earlier and greater citation of published work.

We believe that open access to research is essential for the advancement of knowledge and that authors should retain control over the integrity of their work. We hope that you find the content of MJSAT informative and valuable, and welcome your feedback and suggestions for future improvement.
