Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Manuscript is original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Manuscript is written in English and free from grammatical errors.
  • Manuscript is prepared using the latest official MJSAT template.
  • File is in .doc or .docx format (Microsoft Word).
  • Title page includes the full title, authors’ names, affiliations, ORCID iD for each author, and corresponding author contact details.
  • Abstract is 150–300 words and includes objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • 3–5 keywords are provided after the abstract.
  • Manuscript follows the structure: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), References.
  • Ethical approval statement is included if applicable.
  • Figures are high resolution (JPEG, PNG, or TIFF), numbered sequentially, with descriptive captions, and placed near their first mention in the text.
  • Tables are editable (not images) and include clear titles.
  • Supplementary materials (datasets, appendices, etc.) are submitted in separate files.
  • References follow IEEE style.
  • Each reference includes a valid DOI.
  • All in-text citations match the reference list entries.

Author Guidelines

1. Language and Manuscript Preparation

All manuscripts must be written in English. Authors are encouraged to ensure grammatical accuracy and clarity before submission. Non-native English speakers may consider professional proofreading services to improve language quality.

2. Manuscript Format

  • Authors must use the official MJSAT manuscript template for initial submission and final publication.

  • The template can be downloaded from the MJSAT website. Download MJSAT Template

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) for review.

  • All text should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, with 2.5 cm margins.

  • Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and provided with descriptive captions.

  • References must follow the IEEE style (7th edition) unless otherwise specified.

3. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts should be submitted via the MJSAT online submission system.

  • The corresponding author must ensure that:

    • The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere.

    • All authors have read and approved the submitted version.

4. Peer Review Process and Timeline

MJSAT follows a single-blind peer review process:

  1. Initial Screening – Within 2 weeks of submission, the editorial office checks for adherence to guidelines, plagiarism, and scope.

  2. Peer Review – Manuscripts passing the screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers.

    • Standard review time: 4 to 8 weeks from assignment to reviewers.

  3. Editorial Decision – Based on reviewers’ feedback, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

    • Accept

    • Minor Revision

    • Major Revision

    • Decline

      Decision notification is typically sent within 7 weeks of submission.

5. Revised Manuscripts

  • Authors must submit revised manuscripts within 3 months from the date of the editorial decision letter.

  • Requests for further extensions will only be considered upon written justification and are subject to the Editor-in-Chief’s approval.

  • Failure to submit within the stipulated timeframe may result in withdrawal of the manuscript from consideration.

6. Ethical Considerations

  • All submissions must comply with ethical standards, including:

    • Avoidance of plagiarism

    • Proper citation of sources

    • Disclosure of conflicts of interest

    • Compliance with research ethics for studies involving human participants or animals
