Focus and Scope

The Malaysian Journal of Science and Advanced Technology (MJSAT) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research articles in various fields of science and technology. The journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, and practitioners to share their knowledge, ideas, and research findings in a broad range of areas, including but not limited to:

1. Engineering & Technology
   - Engineering: including but not limited to mechanical, civil, electrical, and chemical engineering
   - Computer sciences: including but not limited to artificial intelligence, computer networks, software engineering, and computer security

2. Sciences
   - Agricultural sciences: including but not limited to plant sciences, crop sciences, soil sciences, and agricultural economics
   - Biological sciences: including but not limited to biotechnology, microbiology, genetics, and biochemistry
   - Chemistry: including but not limited to organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry
   - Earth sciences: including but not limited to geology, geophysics, meteorology, and environmental sciences
   - Life sciences: including but not limited to zoology, botany, ecology, and biodiversity
   - Mathematics & statistics: including but not limited to applied mathematics, probability theory, and statistical analysis
   - Physics: including but not limited to particle physics, astrophysics, and quantum mechanics
   - Space sciences (astronomy): including but not limited to astrophysics, cosmology, and planetary science
   - Sports Sciences: including but not limited to biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports nutrition

3. Medical & Health Sciences
   - Dentistry: including but not limited to oral health, periodontics, and prosthodontics
   - Immunology and Microbiology: including but not limited to medical microbiology, immunology, and virology
   - Medicine: including but not limited to general medicine, surgery, cardiology, and oncology
   - Neuroscience: including but not limited to neurophysiology, neurochemistry, and neuropsychology
   - Nursing: including but not limited to clinical nursing, nursing education, and nursing management
   - Nutrition: including but not limited to clinical nutrition, public health nutrition, and dietetics

MJSAT welcomes original research articles, reviews, and short communications that report on significant advances in any of the above-mentioned fields. All articles submitted to MJSAT undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high-quality, original, and relevant research is published. Our journal aims to promote academic excellence, advance scientific knowledge, and contribute to the development of science and technology in Malaysia and beyond.
