The increasing power density of data centres has created a demand for efficient power conversion systems for computing and ICT loads. This paper presents a 4-stage Interleaved Marx Topology Boost Converter (IMTBC) for high-gain DC-DC conversion, focusing on improving current performance through interleaved switching. The converter converts 50 V to 800 V at 6 kW and 50 kHz. Its performance is evaluated against a Conventional Boost Converter (CBC) and a 4-stage Synchronized Marx Topology Boost Converter (SMTBC) using PLECS simulations. Results show that the IMTBC reduces output current ripple from 4.29 A in the SMTBC to 0.30 A, representing a 93% reduction, supporting its potential for HVDC data centre.
